Behind this shop stand two names that have represented quality, reliability and passion in the world of philately and collecting for decades: Histocard and KOBRA.
Histocard – A Collector's Legend
Norbert Haidl is a well-established figure in the German collector's scene. As early as 1979, he opened the first Bavarian specialist shop for old postcards and philately in Munich – at a time when others still looked down on collecting picture postcards. Since 1982, he has dedicated himself to this passion professionally and has since been represented at the most important collector's fairs in Germany – in Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Berlin and many other cities.
Under the name Histocard, Norbert Haidl has not only built up a loyal regular clientele over the decades, but has also made a name for himself as a recognised expert in historical printed matter, picture postcards and philately accessories.
KOBRA – Quality for Over 60 Years
Rudi Schlattner GmbH from Nürtingen has been producing high-quality and affordable albums and accessories under the KOBRA brand for over 35 years for:

- Coin collectors
- Picture postcard collectors
- Trading card and Pokémon collectors
What many people don't know: KOBRA has already been the manufacturer for many years of a large proportion of the accessories that Norbert Haidl offered under the Histocard name. Our products have therefore long since found their way to satisfied collectors – and now also directly through this shop.
A Natural Partnership
The collaboration between Histocard and KOBRA was a partnership between equals from the very beginning: Norbert Haidl with his deep knowledge of collectors' needs – KOBRA with the craft and industrial expertise to produce exactly the right accessories in the best quality.
It was therefore a logical step that Rudi Schlattner GmbH took over the Histocard webshop for picture postcard accessories, with delivery now taking place directly from Nürtingen.
